Kvarner bay is a bay in the northern Adriatic Sea separating the Istrian peninsula from the northern Croatian seacoast. The heterogeneity of climate and vegetation; its combination of shores, islands and highlands, architecture and culture caused the development of tourism in the last 160 years.

HOTEL DRAŽICA ***, KRK

The island of Krk, located in the northern part of the Croatian coast, is the closest island to Central Europe. The island is connected to the mainland by the Krk Bridge (constructed in 1980) and via the airport in Omišalj. The island of Krk is a unique travel destination, which can quickly be reached from all directions. A mild and pleasant climate with many sunny days a year, the lush Mediterranean vegetation and the crystal clear sea attract a great number of tourists every year. Many entertainment possibilities and a rich offer of sport and recreational activities provide an ideal mix for an active holiday in pristine nature. 
The central and, as far as capacity is concerned, the biggest building of the resort is the Dražica Hotel. The entrance hall with reception and exchange office can be found on the ground floor of the hotel. Safe-deposit boxes for keeping money and valuables can be found directly next to the reception desk. Further services offered to hotel guests include laundry and ironing. Within the hotel you will find a television room/atrium and air-conditioned coffee lounge with a bar, massage parlour, fitness centre, Internet corner and WI-FI Hot Spot, an agency selling optional trips as well as a shop in which you can buy newspapers, beach accessories and souvenirs, all to be found next to the entrance hall and reception. Approximately fifty meters from the Dražica Hotel is the Dependance Villa Lovorka. It is situated in quiet surroundings, encircled by pine and bay trees and thanks to its proximity to the beach it is suitable for families holidaying with children. 
The Villa offers 73 accommodation units: 47 standard double rooms to which an extra bed can be added (only for children up to 12 years of age), 12 hotel apartments – suites with a bedroom, bathroom, living room with a fold-out sofa and a hall, 14 hotel apartments – suites with a bedroom, bathroom, living room with a fold-out sofa, hall as well as a balcony or a terrace.
All rooms were renovated in 2002 and 2003; they are fully air-conditioned (the air–conditioning is connected to a central system, but each room can be individually regulated). The rooms are equipped with a TV/SAT, refrigerator, direct telephone line, hairdryer, and have a park view. 
All services that are included in the boarding, as well as other services for the guests accommodated in the Villa Lovorka Annex are provided in the main Dražica building.
